From small droplets to our vast Great Lakes, water has been an integral part of my photography. Its cycle changes the landscape throughout the seasons bringing new life into this world and then slowly returning it to the earth. This delicate balance between life and death is perfectly displayed during autumn.

As the leaves slowly fall into the water below, the surrounding environment is reflected along the surface of the waterways. A colorful and lively contrast to the decaying foliage. Through impressionist-inspired techniques, I aim to capture one of water’s most graceful transitions.
